TDI Decompression Procedures course in Phuket, Thailand
3 days - 29900 baht
During the TDI Decompression Procedures (TDI DP) course you will learn to plan and perform decompression dives as a member ot tech divers team, become familiar with decompression theory, decompression models, various deco planning software and tables, and learn how to manage stage tanks.
The course provides the opportunity to perform decompression dives up to 45 meters using two mixtures, air as a bottom mix and decompression gas (up to 99% oxygen) - in the stage tank. The presence of a decompression mixture allows you to undergo accelerated decompression, which is especially important when diving in cold water or in the strong currents.
You can choose in between two configurations for this course - twinset or sidemount.

What you will learn on the TDI DP course
During the theoretical lessons you will become familiar with various decompression models, learn how to plan decompression dives using special software, gain in-depth knowledge of the effects of oxygen and nitrogen on the diver's body, as well as the physics and physiology of decompression dives.
During practical training, you will plan and execute dives with staged decompression stops, learn how to solve problems in unexpected situations, etc.
Typically the course lasts three days.
