PADI/SSI Deep Diver Specialty Course in Phuket

1 day / boat 3 dives - 7000 baht

2 days / 6 boat dives - 11,000 baht

As part of a special PADI or SSI Deep Diver course, you will learn how to make no-decompression dives to depths of up to 40 meters - the maximum depth for recreational diving.

The instructors of our dive center ACDC Diving will provide you with training in the Deep Diving course, taking into account your future plans and tell you about the specifics of planning deep dives in certain regions of the world.

 

Having a Deep Diver certificate will be useful when taking the initial technical diving courses TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver or PADI Tec 40 .

You can begin training only after completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course and after reaching at least 15 years of age.

As part of the Deep Diver course, the study of theoretical material is combined with the development of practical skills and mastering the technique of diving to depth.

 

The presence of a variety of dive sites around Phuket allows you to make deep dives on different types of underwater terrain. The most interesting places for deep diving are the islands of Ko Dok Mai and Racha Noi .

 

During the Deep Diver course at our ACDC Diving center in Phuket, you will be able to try diving using different configurations of your choice - one tank and stage, twin, sidemount.

 

We also recommend combining the PADI Deep Diver course with the PADI Enriched Air Diver course to maximize the limits of your recreational diving.

The PADI or SSI Deep Diver course includes:

  • Learning the theory of deep sea diving

  • Planning and preparation of deep dives.

  • Review of planning table and computers.

  • Practicing descent and ascent techniques, features of buoyancy control.

  • Practicing safety stop techniques and an action plan for decompression.

  • Use of special equipment: spare cylinders, rappelling rope.
