PADI Tec 40-45-50 courses in Phuket
3-4 days - 24900-44900 baht
The PADI Tec 40 course is the entry-level technical diving course offered by PADI.
This is the first stage of the PADI Tec Deep Diver program, where you will learn the basics of technical diving and the use of standard technical diving equipment.
The PADI Tec 45 course is the next level in the line of technical courses after the Tec 40 course, it is designed for longer and deeper dives.
During the PADI Tec 45 course you will learn how to use an additional decompression gas cylinder (TecRec courses can use a sidemount configuration).
The PADI Tec 50 course ends your training in the Tec Deep program. By successfully completing the PADI Tec 50 course, you will be able to use gas switching techniques to increase no-decompression and decompression dive times, learn to perform decompression dives using air to depths of 50 meters, and perform accelerated decompression using Nitrox and pure oxygen.
What you will learn on Tec Deep courses
Tec 40 course:
-
use technical dive planner programs and a diving computer to plan and conduct decompression dives to depths of no more than 40 meters with a total decompression time of no more than 10 minutes;
-
use a cylinder with decompression gas for a more conservative decompression (the maximum oxygen content in the decompression gas is no more than 50% - EANx50)
Tec 45 course:
-
master the skills of handling equipment and planning a dive to a maximum depth of 45 meters
-
Learn to plan and execute single and repeat decompression dives using a decompression cylinder with nitrox (EAN) or oxygen, taking a more conservative approach to calculating decompression stops (there is no limit on total decompression time).
-
Learn emergency procedures and learn the skills and procedures you will need to perform deeper technical dives than your previous level of training.
Tec 50 course:
-
take decompression dives to depths of up to 50 meters;
-
will use nitrox and/or oxygen for decompression;
-
will use dive planning software;
-
become qualified to perform independent technical decompression dives.
