The Scuba Diver training program is specifically designed for those who dream of becoming divers but may not have the time or opportunity to complete a full PADI/SSI Open Water Diver course.
This course allows you to dive into the world of underwater adventures in a relatively short period. It’s also ideal for divers who don’t plan to dive frequently.
At our ACDC Diving center in Phuket, we’ll provide you with all the necessary equipment during the course. Our professional instructors will ensure that your diving education is both engaging and safe.
The Scuba Diver certification level enables you to plan dives and explore depths of up to 12 meters under the direct supervision of a dive professional—either a divemaster, assistant instructor, or instructor. It’s an excellent opportunity to explore the marine depths while feeling secure, knowing that an experienced professional is nearby.
By completing the Scuba Diver course in Phuket, you’ll be ready to dive at any dive center around the world.
What does the PADI/SSI Scuba Diver course consist of?
The Scuba Diver course usually takes two days. The morning of the first day begins with filling out forms and watching a training film with our instructor. If you have any questions while watching the training film, the instructor will answer them.
After lunch we go to the diving pool, where we practice our initial skills. In the future, you will be able to use the acquired skills and abilities during your dives.
On the second day we go to sea - we either dive from the beach or go to the islands on a large ship - a dive boat. On this day we make two dives on one of the beaches of Phuket or three dives on the islands of Racha Noi and Racha Yai, during which we consolidate the skills we have developed in the pool.
Who can participate in Scuba Diver Course
Any person of age 15 or higher can take part in PADI/SSI Scuba Diver. 10-14 years old kids can join PADI Junior Scuba Diver class.
What's next?
Having a SCUBA Diver certificate, you will be able to upgrade to Open Water Diver Level in a shorter time.
