South Siam - diving safari in Similan
A diving safari in Thailand on liveaboard yachts South Siam 3 and South Siam 4 is an excellent option for those who want to get acquainted with diving in the Similan Islands for relatively little money.
South Siam's safari ships constantly cruise between the most interesting dive sites in the northern direction, constantly moving between the Similan Islands, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, as well as Richelieu Rock.
Almost every day, divers from the mainland are brought and taken away by high-speed boats - speedboats leaving from the port of Top Lamu.
South Siam ships are the only liveaboard ships that offer diving in the Similan Islands as part of a one- or two-day trip.
Both ships are almost identical. The main difference is the ship schedule.
Safari yachts South Siam 3 and South Siam 4 belong to the budget class - all showers and toilets, and there are 6 of them on the ship, are shared. The ships have double cabins with double and single beds.
The ships are designed to accommodate 28 divers, but the specifics of how these ships operate is such that during the day, space on the dive deck has to be shared with divers who come to dive for one day. Of course, this is not a problem, but if you want a more private environment on the ship, then it is worth looking at other liveaboard options.
