The budget-class Manta Queen 1 is an excellent choice for those who want to go on a liveaboard along the classic itinerary: Similan Islands, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock and local wrecks for 5 days / 4 nights and do 15 dives.
Meals on board are buffet-style, featuring Thai and European cuisine. Fruit is available for snacking between dives.
By the way, it is prohibited to add the flavor enhancer monosodium glutamate to food on Manta Queen boats.
For a small additional fee, nitrox is available on board, which is more cost-effective when ordered for all dives.
The MQ1 ship is quite spacious - its length is 24 meters, and its width is 6 meters.
All ten cabins on the boat are equipped with air conditioning, 8 cabins have their own bathroom, 2 of which have double beds and 6 cabins have two single beds.
Two more double cabins are equipped with single beds and do not have their own bathrooms.
